Prostate Cancer Support Groups in Los Angeles, CA
Get the Support You Need to Fight Prostate Cancer
If you have been diagnosed with prostate cancer, you are not alone. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, (CDC) report, “aside from non-melanoma skin cancer, prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men in the United States. It is also one of the leading causes of cancer death among men of all races.”1
Prostate cancer is a serious disease but, with early diagnosis and today’s advanced treatments, most men diagnosed with prostate cancer do not die from it and can lead a healthy, active life. There is help and support available! Get the facts from your doctors about the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer and get the emotional support you may need by reaching out to others who have been diagnosed and by participating in a prostate cancer support group.
Dr. Pugach encourages all men who may be concerned about prostate cancer, those newly diagnosed with prostate cancer and men who have been treated, to view his Patient’s Focus Group video where men diagnosed with prostate cancer and their wives share their story.
